The Dad Miller Golf Course is well-maintained and reasonably priced, making it a popular choice for players of all ages and skill levels. The practice center includes a chipping green and a night-lighted driving range, serving as the venue for the Golf School at Dad Miller. A highlight in the course's history includes a notable hole-in-one made by a 93-year-old in 1970, which was recognized by Guinness World Records at the time. Additionally, Tiger Woods played here during his high school years.

The course is named after Harold George “Dad” Miller, who achieved that famous hole-in-one on December 1970 at hole No. 11, measuring 107 yards as a par three. Designed by Richard Miller, H.G. Dad Miller’s son, this course opened its doors in 1961.

Tiger Woods's connection to Dad Miller extends beyond his youth play; he contributed significantly to the community by donating $5 million towards constructing the Tiger Woods Teaching Center at the facility. This center, which operates free of charge for youths aged 8 to 17 for twelve hours each day, emphasizes education in math, language arts, science, tutoring, and character development programs.
